Brilliant Brilliant Brilliant HILARIOUS film! an absolute classic!
As you will come to learn, i LOVE the musicals, and this has to be one of the best!
from the moment the large black homeless woman starts singing "skid row" i KNOW i'm having fun! This movie never fails to put a big smile on my face, and have me singing along... LOUDLY!
STORY: 5/7 - (ridiculous but brilliant)
Seymour Krelborn was an orphan, who now works at Mushnik's Florist. One day after a... "To-Tal Eclipse Of The Sun!" he finds a VERY strange and interesting plant which he names Audrey2 after his beautiful co-worker. Much terror and dancing ensues.
ACTING: 4.5/7 - (forced but purposefully so)
The ridiculous dialogue in this movie is done so well, and is quite fun
CINEMATOGRAPHY / VISUAL EFFECTS: 7/7 - (Audrey2)
Maybe the GREATEST puppetry ever in the history of film!!
That plant was actually really there, doing all those things!
SCORE / SOUND: 3.5/7 - (to be honest, i don't know)
I didn't really notice any incidental music or anything in this movie... due to the amazing songs.
SONGS: 6/7 - ("seymour's my maaaaaaaaaaaan")
Abso-frickin-lutely WONDERFUL! i will be singing these songs for DAYS!
Ashman and Menken are amazing
OVERALL RATING: 6/7 - (Awesome)
