And... not only do we own starship troopers 3 on DVD but it's the special edition.
The version which is actually (digitally) signed by Casper Van Dien in character as Johnny Rico!

so anyway... onto the movie.

STORY: 5/7 - (Are you ready for Marauder? Join the Mobile Infantry and see if you have what it takes to be a citizen)
So it's been a few years since the first movie. We've been learning from the brain bug we captured on planet P. The war hasn't moved that far forward, but RICO HAS! he's totally all important in the army now. So we basically think we've got this bug thing all done and dusted now. We understand them, but what would happen if we learned that maybe the bugs GAVE us a victory and had a bigger plan?

ACTING: 4/7 - (Get in there and kill 'em all!)
Basically it's all you'd expect from another starship troopers. No brilliant acting, but still heaps of fun.

CINE / VISUAL EFFECTS: 3.5/7
Quite dissapointing actually. I don't understand how technology can get better, but the CG elements can look worse?? The bugs weren't beleivable.

SCORE / SOUND: 4/7
It was ok. Nothing that cool

SONGS: 6/7 - (it's a good day to die!)
Lord almighty is there a song in this movie!!! It is absolutely amazing!!
So basically it's a piece of crap, but the pure hilarity makes this a strong 6.




OVERALL: 5.5/7
