Andy wants to work in journalism, but can't break into the business in New York. She ends up landing herself an assistant job in one of the most prestigious fashion magazines in the country. Having been told that after a year at "Runway" she could get any job she wanted, she decides to stick it out. Unfortunately her boss Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep) is a tyrant.

ACTING: 4/7
Meryl is brilliant, but that's a given. My personal favourite in the movie would have to be Emily Blunt. She's so funny, but so serious at the same time.

Nothing special really. There's some ok montages of Paris, but nothing that hasn't been done before.

SCORE / SOUND: 3/7
The soundtrack is full of great songs, but i feel that they take away from the movie a bit. When Madonna's "Vogue" comes in, it's hard to think anything but "hey this is vogue, look at that footage that they set to vogue."
