Basically, it's the Wizard of Oz. Not even basically, it just IS the Wizard of Oz. The things is, it's set in New York with an all black cast.
ACTING: 3/7
It's a really entertaining movie, but the acting just didn't impress me.

SONGS: 6/7
Even though it was the first time i'd ever seen the movie, or heard the songs, i found myself totally singing along. Lots of fun upbeaty motowny style coolness.
OVERALL: 5/7
